There Would Be No Recognition Of Israel As A State Unless Palestine Is Freed: PM Imran Khan


PM Imran Khan reveals the stance of Pakistan over recognizing Israel as a state!

In his recent interview with a private channel Prime Minister Imran Khan clear the air of Islamabad’s stance over accepting Israel as the state until and unless it gives freedom to the Palestinians.

In his interview, he touched upon some of the important ongoing issues from the sugar scandal to dealing strategy with Covid-19, the situation of Karachi, relations of the government with the opposition, and FBR reforms to Pakistan’s foreign policy.

On the question of Pakistan’s foreign policy, the Premiere clearly stated what Pakistan’s stance on Israel he said is:

“The Quaid-i-Azam had said in 1948 that Pakistan could not recognize Israel unless it gave freedom to Palestinians.”

“If we recognize Israel and ignore tyranny faced by the Palestinians, we will have to give up (the cause of) Kashmir as well, and this we cannot do,” he added.

On the questioning of Saudi Arabia warming up its soar relations with Israel the Prime Minister of Pakistan said every country has its own policy.

He also rubbishes of the news of having soar relations between Pakistan and Saudia Arabia on Kashmir issue on which he stated:

“Saudi Arabia is one of our key friends and our relations are still fraternal and unchanged.”
