Shashi Praises Imran For Remembering Tipu Sultan

“Prime Minister Imran Khan receives a seal of approval from across the border as Shashi Tharoor showers praise upon him”

Despite the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India, Shashi Tharoor has praised Prime Minister Imran Khan for remembering Tipu Sultan on his death anniversary on May 4.

“Shashi and Imran Term Tipu Sultan A Great Indian Hero”

Shashi Tharoor went on to say that Prime Minister Imran Khan reads and cares about the subcontinent’s history. However, he was unhappy that it took a Pakistan leader to remember “a great Indian hero” on his death anniversary.

Praising the former cricketer turned politician on his twitter post, Shashi Tharoor said on his own twitter:

On May 4, Prime Minister Imran Khan said in his twitter post that Tipu Sultan is a man he admires because he preferred freedom. He further added that Tipu Sultan died fighting for freedom rather than live a life of enslavement.

Praising Prime Minister Imran Khan
