Recognizing his services as the leading singer in South Asia, Oxford University had written:
“Born into a family whose name has become synonymous with South Asian musical tradition, he began formal training at the age of seven and has since released more than fifty albums, performed in numerous high-profile concerts across the world, and amassed a global following, achieving over one billion views online.”
Being the nephew of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab, RFAK began his career under the guidance of the King of Qawwali. Ever since he has fulfilled the family legacy as his soulful voice has become the voice of many and he has given us so many evergreen songs to cherish.
We are very happy for RFAK for becoming the first Asian singer to be honored with the Wembley Arena Award and wish him all the best for his future endeavors.
