Five Killed In Blast During Friday Prayer In Quetta
At least five persons were killed in a blast in Kuchlak area of Quetta during Jumma (Friday) prayers in a mosque.
Early reports suggest that as many as fifteen people were injured in the explosion. The rescue teams have reached the incident place and started shifting the wounded to the hospital.
The security forces have cordoned off the area to collect evidences and conduct investigations.
Kuchlak is a town on the outskirts of Quetta.
The injured have been shifted to the city’s Civil Hospital. TV footage showed the blast caused extensive damage to the walls and ceiling of the seminary.
The blast comes at a time when tensions are high between Pakistan and India due to the annexation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir by the Modi led BJP government. India’s obsession with Balochistan and a fictional freedom fight inside the province continues as it hurries to deflect blame from its atrocities in Kashmir to a Baloch freedom fight movement.
