The world is still in shock over the Christchurch Mosques attack in which more than 50 people were martyred, amongst them was a Pakistani Naeem Rashid who succumbed to his injuries one day after the attack. Naeem Rashid tried to overpower the attacker to save other namazis, and it is because of the selfless act he is being hailed a hero all over the world.
Naeem Rashid tried to overpower 28-year-old Australian Brenton Tarrant during a mass shooting at Al Noor mosque which was live-streamed and seriously injured in his attempt to wrestle the gun from the shooter.
Naeem Rashid was born and brought up in the city of Abbottabad, Pakistan and was living in New Zealand for the last seven years.
He was a Professor at the local University and his son was a student, informed Rashid’s brother during an interview to an international news channel.

The Muslim man in the video who heroically sacrificed himself to stop the terrorist has been identified as Naeem Rashid from Abottabad, Pakistan. His son Talha was also killed in the attack.

Even Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan tweeted about the Pakistani who made the country proud and even announced an award for his selflessness and courage.
