Pakistan showbiz XI to play friendly matches against US clubs

The cricket fever has taken over the world as the excitement for CWC 2019 is in full swing these days. Where our national team is struggling to perform well in this mega tournament, there’s another Pakistani cricket team who is all set to portray a soft image of Pakistan in the United States. That’s right! Pakistan showbiz XI that includes some big names from our entertainment industry is going on a tour to the US. They will play friendly matches with the local US cricket clubs in different states.

 

Music artist Tehseen Javed has arranged this tour with local US sponsors and he is also the captain of the team which also includes Humayun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa, Syed Jibran and director Mohsin Talat.

Pakistan showbiz XI also includes Noman Habib, Kamran Jelani, Faiq Khan, Abbas Jaffri, Saud, Mukhtar Ahmed, Salman Saeed, Mohsin Talat, Nawab Alam, and Farhan Aly Agha.

Mohsin Talat announced the tour to the United States on social media and tagged his teammates as well.

He also shared a picture with other players of Pakistan Showbiz XI and captioned “Enroute to USA

Exclusively, the star-studded team will play 3 matches on this tour. The first match will be played in Dallas on 15th June, the second one in Houston on 16th June. Pakistan showbiz XI will play their last match in Chicago on 22nd June. They will come back to Pakistan on 24th June.

The stars will also participate in the meet and greet sessions to promote fraternity and a positive image of the country in the United States.

Well, this is exciting considering the passion of cricket in Pakistan is on its peak currently. Moreover, our showbiz stars will represent the country on an international platform for a good cause. We wish them good luck with that and hope that they win.
