Pakistan Railway Is Set To Launch A VVIP Train From Karachi To Lahore

The Pakistan Railway will be launching a VVIP train “Jinnah Express” from Karachi to Lahore on 30th March and Prime Minister Imran Khan would be the one to inaugurate the venture.

According to the Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, the PM is also expected to give Rs. 3000 each to those working round the clock to complete the bogies and compartments of the VVIP trains.

Sheikh Rasheed was speaking at Pakistan Railway Mughalpura Workshop where he also assured a group of protestors that he will try his best to do something for them.

Railway Minister also announced during his speech that another VVIP train “Sir Syed Express” from Karachi to Lahore will follow “Jinnah Express” in the coming month. The contract of “Sir Syed Express” has been given to a Five Star hotel chain which will raise the standard big time.

He further added that last governments wasted Rs. 2 billion dollars on the renovation of different railway stations that did not even earn Rs. 6,000 and vowed to put an end to corruption within the next five years.
