Pakistan vs England: Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, and Haider Ali test positive for COVID-19
Pak vs Eng 2020: Three Pakistan Men’s Cricket team players Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, and Haider Ali have tested positive for COVID-19 in Rawalpindi. All the players are being tested for COVID-19, and only cleared players will be joining the squad in Lahore for the upcoming tour of England that starts on July 30.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued a statement,
“The players had shown no symptoms until they were tested in Rawalpindi on Sunday ahead of the Pakistan men’s national cricket team’s tour to England.”
All three of them are advised by the PCB medical panel to immediately go into quarantine and take all the precautionary measures for a speedy recovery. The PCB panel is in close contact with them and will continue to monitor their situation.

Usman Shinwari and Imad Wasim were also screened in Rawalpindi on Sunday and were tested negative. While the test results of other players and team officials that have screened on Monday will also be announced by PCB through its official communication channels.
“The other players and team officials, barring Cliffe Deacon, Shoaib Malik and Waqar Younis, underwent tests at their respective centres in Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar on Monday,” the PCB statement read.
Positive COVID-19 results mean their participation in the upcoming tour of England is highly unlikely, as they were supposed to join the rest of the squad on June 24 in Lahore. The squad was due to travel later this month to England where they will quarantine themselves before the first test match of the tour on July 30.
