Mehwish Hayat gives a befitting reply to Tarek Fatah
Mehwish Hayat recently lashed out at Tarek Fatah after he misinterpreted the video from her film ‘Load Wedding’ to be real and shared it with his 609.9k followers on Twitter.
The Canadian journalist often finds himself in hot waters on social media over his controversial and anti-Pakistan tweets. This time again, Fatah tried to malign the image of Pakistan by posting a cellphone-recorded video of the polio scene from Nabeel Qureshi’s ‘Load Wedding’, calling it real footage and depiction of what happens to polio workers in Pakistan.
The tweet that was deleted later by Tarek Fatah read:
“Pakistani mother slams the door shut in the face of Polio workers. Screams at the two female volunteers: “I will never ever allow my children to take these drops. Never never will my kids drink these drops. Never.”
The tweet went viral in no time and Pakistanis were quick to recall the scene from the blockbuster film of 2018.
The best thing happened after the Gangster Guriya herself made sure to give a befitting reply to Tarek Fatah and asked him to do some research before spreading false news.

Even an Indian civil servant couldn’t help but praise Mehwish Hayat and added that Tarek Fatah spreads negativity on Twitter.

Tarek Fatah is total bad news. He is a hate monger. Claims he is from the left and then openly supports India's extreme right government in discrimination against Muslims. Sits on TV channels and espouses hate against the very religion he claims to belong to.
