Proudly, our superstar and pride of Pakistan have now bagged yet another achievement as she has now been recognized as one of the top five Muslim women who are working for a change.

The list was released by Penny Appeal yesterday in an international magazine ‘Muslim Vibe’ on account of the Women’s Equality Day.

Mehwish Hayat has made it to this amazing list of women who are working to make this world a better place and break all the stereotypes that stop women from making a difference.

The Gangster Guriya took to Twitter to share this achievement and she’s honored to represent Pakistan on a global stage yet again.

Other Mehwish Hayat, the list of top five Muslim women includes Egyptian athlete Manal Rostom, who is also a fitness influencer, clinical pharmacist and founder of an online community Surviving Hijab.

Member of the US House Representatives, Ilhan Omar has also made it to this list along with side an American political activist, Linda Sarsour.

Moreover, American sabre fencer, Ibtihaj Muhammad is also among the top five leading women in the Muslim world.

Last week, Mehwish appeared in an interview with BBC World after receiving the Pride of Performance Award and becoming the brand ambassador for Penny Appeal.

The Tamgha-e-Imtiaz winner shared that she will be raising funds to rebuild 5 schools in Sukkur, Sindh being the part of this global charity.

Moreover, Mehwish also made headlines around the world after she called out Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra for her jingoism. The actress also addressed the issue of the negative portrayal of Pakistan in Hollywood and Bollywood movies during her award-winning speech in Norway.
