Instagram & TikTok come face to face!
The relationship between the US and China ties is sore, as both, the countries are face to face with each other and shutting their consulates. On the other hand, Instagram has launched a new option in its social media platform that is a direct competitor of the popular app TikTok with the name of Reels.
The President of United States of America Donald Trump has been forcing ByteDance to sell its US operations of the popular app TikTok to Microsoft but the Facebook-owned platform Instagram has jumped forward as it launched the completely new option of video making in its platform by the name of Reels.
The feature has been currently launched in the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Japan, Australia, France, and Germany. It will soon be launched in other countries as well.
Instagram has launched the application first in Brazil for testing purposes for two months but now the application is integrated with social media platforms and will cater to the needs of video makers. The feature is available to 50 countries currently and will gradually be available for worldwide usage.
Now Instagram users will be able to record 15-second videos with audio, effects, and new creative tools with the desire editing tools available on TikTok.
The whole feature is exactly the same as TikTok and to cater to the market of TikTokers with all the edit options to saving the draft kind of options. All in all, it is the same feature in different packaging.
