Here’s how Indian cricketers react on Shahid Afridi’s remarks on Narendra Modi
Be it on-field or outside it, Shahid Afridi surely knows how to outclass every opponent single-handedly, and even years after retiring from international cricket, our Lala has nettled the Indian team once again.
The former captain of Pakistan is currently very active on behalf of Shahid Afridi Foundation and is traveling across the country, helping those in need during the lockdown.
However, Afridi’s recent visit to Kashmir is making headlines on both sides of the borders after he called out the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi over India’s atrocities in IOK.
While talking to the locals about the Coronavirus pandemic, Shahid Afridi said the bigger disease is in Modi’s mind.
“I am in your beautiful village, I am very delighted. I was planning to visit you all for a long time. The world is currently infected by such a big disease. But the bigger disease is in Modi’s mind.”

What we saw and learnt from Shahid #Afridi actions & statements throughout these years he was never against #India or Hinduism he stood for humanity & peace,He is against the brutality of #Indian Army on Kashmiri poeple & injustice of Modi towards #Muslims specially #Kashmiri Muslims.
As expected, this video is now going viral on social media and many Indian cricketers have stepped up to speak in support of their prime minister.
Shahid Afridi Called Out Modi, Indian Cricketers React
Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh, who have pledged their support to SA Foundation, have severed ties with Shahid Afridi for talking
Really disappointed by @SAfridiOfficial‘s comments on our Hon’b PM @narendramodi ji. As a responsible Indian who has played for the country, I will never accept such words. I made an appeal on your behest for the sake of humanity. But never again.
Jai Hind 🇮🇳

Talking to Indian media, Harbhajan Singh also expressed his disappointment and said that he has no relation or tie-up with Afridi from here on.
To be honest, he (Afridi) asked us to make an appeal for his charity. In good faith. We did it for humanity and for the people suffering due to the coronavirus. This man is talking ill about our country. All I have to say is we have nothing to do with Afridi. He has no right to speak ill against our country and he should stay in his country and limits. I have no relation or tie-up with Afridi from here on.
Yes NEVER AGAIN no matter what https://t.co/PZBWAEoloR

Ironically, Gautam Gambhir who often makes headlines by speaking against Pakistan has also called out Afridi over his remarks against the Indian premier.
Once again spewing venom against Pakistan, the former Indian cricketer now politician wrote that Pakistan won’t get Kashmir till the day of judgment.
Pak has 7 lakh force backed by 20 Cr ppl says 16 yr old man @SAfridiOfficial. Yet begging for Kashmir for 70 yrs. Jokers like Afridi, Imran & Bajwa can spew venom against India & PM @narendramodi ji to fool Pak ppl but won't get Kashmir till judgment day! Remember Bangladesh?

Other Indian cricketers also shared a similar reaction
Is waqt jab saari duniya corona se lad rahi hai us waqt bhi tumko kashmir ki padi hai.
Kashmir humara tha humare hai aur humara hi rahega. Chaiyeh 22 crore le ao, humara ek, sava lakh ke barabar hai . Baaki ginti apne aap kar lena @SAfridiOfficial

Gosh! What all a person must do to remain relevant! Even more so for a nation that is living on alms. So, better do something for your failed nation and leave #Kashmir alone. I am a proud Kashmiri and it is and will always remain an inalienable part of India. Jai Hind!🇮🇳❤️💪

Lala speaks for Kashmir whenever Kashmir needs him. Now Indians are abusing him after his recent speech. Dear K Twitter, Afridi is our hero. If you can't support his foundation, support him on social media. Let every Indian ass burn who hates our hero.#Kashmir #ShahidAfridi
