Hum TV – Anaa Episode 8 Review

Hum TV - Anaa Episode 9 Review

Hum TV’s substantial TV serial comes back with another episode where the story continues to revolve around the bittersweet post-relationship phase of Daneen (Hania Aamir) and Areesh (Shahzad Shaikh) and its complexities.

Anaa Episode 8 Review

Previously, Daneen tended to create a lot of stress among Dadi Saheb’s (Seemi Raheel) grandson Areesh’s wedding, and the story resumes from the apprehensive situation =where Altamash (Usman Mukhtar) tries to hold back his sister Aania (Areeba Alvi) from marrying Areesh as he knows he still loves Daneen, a fact Aania doesn’t seem to agree with.

Followed by the wedding, Areesh tends to make it plain to Aania that he wouldn’t be able to give her the love that she needs, and offers to divorce her; to which she persuades him not to be unfair once again. Thereafter, Aania entreats Daneen to leave them forever after planning a meeting with her.

Anaa Episode 8 Review

Along with the dragging tension, the episode also tags along side-splitting sequence between Altamash (Usman Mukhtar) and Izza (Naimal Khawar). The two share very light-hearted and witty conversation which happens to distract the viewer’s attention in a likable way. The only exception is the gawkish fabrication of Izza acting tipsy after she gulps down most of the cough syrup bottle at Altamash’s place in one of the scenes. Both Naimal and Usman have perfectly represented the girl-next-door and handsome-hunk duties in their own witty ways.

Overall, the drama continues to proceed with an average rate of progress. Let’s hope it continues with another enriched episode. Acting wise, every actor has done a good job be it the young or the old whereas the writer and director must be commended for grasping the audience’s attention.
