Social media criticizes Haris Rauf for his celebration style in BBL
Recently, Pakistani cricketer Haris Rauf became the center of attention with his phenomenal bowling performance in the latest season of Big Bash League in Australia.
The young cricketer did not only manage to entertain the viewers, but he also received praise from legendary cricketer and the current bowling coach of Pakistan cricketer Waqar Younis.
Where Haris Rauf currently ranks as the third-highest wicket-taker with 10 wickets, his celebration style has landed him in hot waters on social media.
After taking a wicket, the fast bowler goes for a ‘cut-throat’ action to celebrate which many social media users think is inappropriate.

Australian commentator Darryl Brohman thinks that Haris is a very good bowler but his post wicket celebration is a bit exaggerated
Not sure we need the throat cutting gesture from Harris Rauf everytime he takes a wicket. Clearly a very good bowler but the post wicket antics are over the top. Who’s with me?

Don't know what's the opinion of fans on bowlers' signature celebrations but personally speaking I don't like them. All the great bowlers I have seen (Wasim, Waqar, McGrath, Ambrose, Warne, Steyn, Murali, Kumble etc) didn't have any signature. Legends don't play to the gallery.

One even called it ‘unnatural and barbarian’
This is unnatural and barbarians type celebration. From Where this fellow learned..?

And many people think that he needs to find a new celebration style
Some of newcomers are introducing stupid styles of celebration. New addition among them is Haris Rauf who is showing unnecessary aggression and looking quite foolish.

I think you need to have a word with Haris Rauf The throat slashing action of his wicket celebration is totally inappropriate. You really don’t want kids emulating this kind of behaviour

Mazhar bhai look at Haris Rauf no doubt a gem of a talent but his some wicket taking celebrations are purely unethical that he shown in @thePSLt20 & currently did it in @BBL.Abhi tu Star bana shuru huwa hain air abhi sein hee legends wala attitude.

According to sources, Haris Rauf has been asked by the management of Lahore Qalandars to stop his cut-throat style to celebrate wickets

This advice was needed as this celebration style wasn't making a good impression.
Haris Rauf is developing into a good potential for the National side and should be coached accordingly.

While there are many who think that people should let the young pacer celebrate the way he wants
I feel, there's no harm in celebrating and enjoying your hardwork. Those criticising Haris Rauf's celebration were the ones who enjoyed Undertaker and Kane doing the same on national television for nearly three decades.

Good step taken by lahore Qalanders management to stop Haris Rauf from those celebrations
He needs to focus on his game more than these celebrations
But on a lighter note a Bowler is nothing without these aggressive celebrations and attitude@lahoreqalandars #BBL2019 #Melbourne
