Pakistan Navy personnel among 14 bus passengers martyred in Makran Coastal firing
Balochistan was hit with another tragic incident on Thursday morning after at least 14 bus passengers were killed by unknown assailants. The passengers were first identified and offloaded on Makran Coastal Highway near Ormara.
The attackers were wearing uniforms from the paramilitary Frontier Corps.
Makran Coastal Incident
The gunmen “stopped buses on the highway and gunned down 14 people”, said provincial home secretary, Haider Ali, adding that the vehicles were traveling to Karachi from the coastal town of Ormara
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, which came less than a week after a suicide blast in the provincial capital Quetta, targeting the Hazara community and killing 20 people.

The dead bodies were being shifted to a nearby health facility in Ormara.
The incident took place in Buzi Top area in the early hours of Thursday. However, the identities of the victims were yet to be ascertained.
Condemnations Pour In
Chief Minister of Balochistan, Jam Kamal condemned the incident and termed it a conspiracy to derail the development process of the province.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also condemned the killings in a statement from his office.
