Geo TV – Qaid Episode 19 Review

Drama serial Qaid continues with another episode where Farah (Maryam Ansari) continues to be a nuisance in the lives of Reham (Zara Noor Abbas) and Aashir (Syed Jibran) but things don’t move quick enough for the audience who might lose interest if nothing significant happens soon.

The episode revolves around the three characters – the rude Aashir, the irritating Farah and the damsel in distress Reham. Despite her mother Sofia (Marina Khan)’s advice that Aashir should spend time with Farah, he refuses to do so and that angers the latter.

It was in the same episode where Farah learns about Reham and Aashir’s history when he confronts his wife and inquires about the reasons behind the rejection of his proposal. Farah overhears the conversation and informs her parents who ask her to stay quiet as they decide to plot against Reham.

The episode was better than the previous ones although the persistent ill-treatment of Reham is becoming monotonous as time goes by. On the performance front, the play belongs to both Syed Jibran and Zara Noor Abbas; I must say that Zara Noor Abbas is just outstanding in the role of a helpless girl. The matchless performance of Syed Jibran has won millions of hearts. Also, Marina Khan, Maryam Ansari, Gul-e Rana are doing a terrific job throughout the play.

Stay tuned for the next episode to see what happens next in this play.
