Fiery Caribbeans Punish Clueless Pakistan In WC Opener

Clueless Pakistan Mistake Opening Encounter As Warm Up!

Sarfaraz Ahmed’s clueless Pakistan side had a terrible opening game at the World Cup where they couldn’t bat, bowl or field like an international Cricket team. Their performance was so bad that people have started writing them off and started picking new favorites instead.

Even the West Indians Would Have Loved A Bigger Target

They didn’t win the toss but even the West Indian would have thought that Pakistan would post a fighting total for their batsmen to chase. In return, the Men in Green played as if it was a T20 match, scoring 105 runs in 21.4 overs.

Fakhar & Babar Looked In Good Nick, Others Were In Zombie Mode

Only Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam batted as if they were playing in the World Cup, the rest just came and went back. And when Wahab Riaz hit a few boundaries against the same bowlers who dominated his teammates, it was clear that the top order batsmen weren’t interested in scoring at all.

Chris Gayle Was On Fire, Nicholas Pooran Hungry For Runs

And when it was the West Indian’s chance to bat, they did so as if batting on another wicket. On a pitch where Imam ul Haq scored 2 runs off 11 balls, Chris Gayle managed 50 off 30 balls. Nicholas Pooran did the rest with his 34-ball 19 and Pakistan lost the match within 40 overs instead of 100.

Clueless Pakistan Fall To Hopeless Selection

Pakistani selectors who preferred Imam ul Haq over Abid Ali ahead of the mega event chose Mohammad Hafeez over the in-form Asif Ali, and selected both Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz in place of Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Hasnain.

Mohammad Amir regains form for Clueless Pakistan!

The only good thing about the selection was Mohammad Amir who took 3 wickets to fall. Come to think of it, he wasn’t even in the final 15-member squad. The rest bowled like newcomers who had no clue as to how to bowl on a pitch that supported pacers.
