Recently, Asim Azhar came under the spotlight after a video from his concert went viral on the internet and many people reported that someone from the crowd had thrown a shoe at him during his performance in Gujranwala, Punjab.

The news was covered by many media outlets and people started bashing the person who allegedly threw a shoe however, Asim Azhar kept silence.

Finally, the singer has broken the silence and cleared the air surrounding this controversy. Asim Azhar shared a video message, clarifying that no one threw a shoe at him but it was a cap that looks like a shoe.

Asim also showed various other items that people throw at the stage during concerts and keep them safe as souvenirs from his fans. He added the only reason he’s making this video is to stop people from abusing his fan who had simply lost his cap.

The video also takes a dig at the media outlets who break news without any confirmation.

The video of Asim Azhar’s concert went viral on social media and his fans expressed their anger, calling the act unethical.

According to Samaa, the singer is currently on a worldwide tour. He plans to visit Rahim Yar Khan, Gujranwala, Okara, Sargodha, Lahore, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Islamabad, and Multan for concerts.
