ARY Digital – Bandish Episode 12 Review

The black magic-themed drama Bandish makes us go through another enchanting roller coaster ride. The latest episode begins with the cunning Sumbal (Farah Shah) winning the confidence of the police officer. Afterward, Aleena (Hoorain) also discloses about her evil entity friend, leaving Hania (Zubab Rana) shocked. Madiha (Marina Khan), on the other hand, tries to convince Junaid about Sumbal’s evil motives but he laughs at her accusation, and she, being helpless, performs Sumbal’s task. On the way, Hamza takes her to his master, where she starts praying and as a result, Sania (Hira Mani) escapes from Sumbal’s den and goes straight to Abayan (Saqib Salman)’s home.

The drama has once again nailed it by flawlessly depicting another hair-raising episode. Director Aabis Raza really deserves acclaim for treating such a difficult subject with immense ease. Each and every sequence takes you to another world and you will start associating yourself with the intriguing narrative. However, there is some repetition regarding Sania’s scenes, but the rest wonderful content overshadows that error. I like how the message of Optimism and its relation to God, has been depicted in the episode: the writers should be credited for the wonderful element.

The performances are magical without any doubt; Farah Shah is the show-stealer, in each episode she manages to introduce us to the fresh avatar of her character. However, the drama seems to be on Marina Khan’s shoulders and she carries the burden in an incredible way. Child artists Hoorain and Erum are absolutely brilliant while Sajid Hassan is right on dots; other characters assist in moving the story forward. The drama is advancing forward at an incredible pace, and we are passionately longing for more..
