Ahsan Rahim’s directorial debut and Ali Zafar’s first-ever Pakistani film Teefa in Trouble finally crosses the Rs. 50 crore barrier internationally and becomes the first ever non-Holiday release from Pakistan to do so. Other films to cross the magic number have been Eid releases that have cashed on the long weekend but not Teefa who does it without the help of holidays.
Woke up to the awesome news! 7 months of being in cinemas, we have now crossed the 50 crore mark! Congratulations @theotherahsan @mayaali07 and the entire team. My sincerest gratitude to everyone involved in making this historical venture. We own this success to THE PEOPLE! 🙏🙌 pic.twitter.com/i9sAW2VSSu

It is to be said that if the content of the film is good, nothing can’t stop the film from doing well at the box office. Same is the case with the Teefa In Trouble, a film that was full of drama, romance, comedy, and action which connected with the masses and people enjoyed it.
Ali Zafar shared his views about the massive success on his social media he said:
Before #Teefa the only Pakistani films that did big business were all Eid releases. So proud & deeply humbled the risk paid off making #Teefaintrouble the first non Eid holiday film to cross the 50crore. This,I believe, was important for the industry & a trend more should follow. pic.twitter.com/gOawyN6ot7
