Chaman is considered one of the sensitive towns of Balochistan due to its border connection with Afghanistan!
A powerful blast has jolted the town in a busy Monday morning in Chaman that killed at least 5 people and injured 20 confirms Assistant Commissioner Zakaullah Durrani. The blast has occurred at the Chaman’s Mall road that is considered one of the busiest roads in town.
According to the police inspector Muhammad Mohsin, some unidentified miscreants had planted an improvised explosive device inside a motorbike that was parked on the roadside. As per the investigation, the target was the Anti-Narcotics Force vehicle.
The impact of the explosion was massive that it has shattered the windowpanes of several shops and houses in the vicinity.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a statement, tweeted on the Prime Minister Office’s Twitter account, condemned the incident, and expressed his grief and sorrow for the precious lives that are lost.

However, Chaman is considered to be a sensitive town of Balochistan as it shares a border with Afghanistan unstable Kandahar province.
