Did Liam Plunkett tamper with the ball? In a video that has become viral online, Plunkett could be seen scratching the ball. This further gains suspicion after the remarkable ball movement later, which is evident in the slow motion. It is also likely that as the umpires missed the tampering, it helped other bowlers as well in producing reverse swing in death overs.
Plunkett, of the most expensive bowlers in the match for the hosts until his decision to influence the ball. Conceding just eight runs in his last over, which was a much better one than his previous overs.
